Activities & Programs :
(A) Litereacy: (1) Adult Education Program with financial assistance form “Kakatiya Akshara Deepika” in Warangal Urban Slums; (2) Akshara Sankranti Prorams in the Shayampet locality of Warangal Municipal Corporation areas.
(B) Youth development: (1) Awareness generation Programs for rural & tribal youth with financial assistance from district Youth welfare office; (2) rural Sports in dammannapet, wardhannapet mandal; (3) Mobilization of youth to participate in Vivekananada Birthday celebrations, Hyderabad, (4) Rajiv Yuva shakti Motivation; (5) AIDS awareness camps & (6) Free Blood donation Shibir’s
(C) Rehabilitation of Child Laborers: KRUPA has facilitated a child Laborer Rehabilitation School with “50” boys & girls, in the Indira Nagar locality of Hanamkonda, sincc 1999and has mainstreamed/rehabilitated 120,such children into regular schools. Vocational training’s were provided to the girls, during their stain, in this CLR School with financial assistance from Ministry of Labor. GOI.
(D) Mainstreaming of School Drop-outs: with the facilitation of Residential Bridge School, sponsored by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan/DPEP since March 2004,KRUPA is providing residential educational facilities to 100 school drop-outs with the sole intention of mainstreaming them into regular schools.
(E) Comprehensive Community Health: KRUPA has facilitated the Urban Health Centre, a World Bank Aided Project, in the New Shayampet Locality of warangal Municipal Corporation jurisdiction, providing basic health care facilities; & treatment of acute & chronic diseases; ante & post natal care; immunization; health education sessions, covering an estimated 20,000 urban slum population, grounded during the year 2000 to 2005
(F) Ecology & Environmental Development: ( 1) environmental Awareness Campaigns; (2) Facilitation of Five “Vana Samrakshanana Samithi’s – Community Forsest Management Program” in Venkatapur Tribal Mandal, Warangal District during the year 2003 to 2005; (3) Water Harvesting soak pits program in collaboration with district Youth Welfare Office during the year 2002 – 2003;
(G) Empowerment of the Women: (1) facilitation of Mahila Sangha’s in Venkatapur Mandal; (2) Facilitation of Women Thrift groups; (3) Mahila Arogya Sangham’s in New Shayampet ;
(H) Income generation Programs: (1) Free Computer taining program for adolescent girls in New Shayampet urban slum locality of warangal tri City (2) Vocational Taining’s in tailoring & Embroidery at Deendayal Nagar & Julywada Urban slum localities, during the year 2002 – 2003
