ANNUAL REPORTS (2005-06)

Sai Vikas Educational Development Society, Hanamkonda of Warangal district is established in the year 1999 and registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act 1350 Fasli, (Act I of 1350 F) vide registration number 6750 of 1999 on 20-09-99 with an intention to serve the destitute above age of (40) years and Orphan Children and others in need.

The office bearers of the society consists of Social workers, businessmen and Government servents. The society is associated with welare activities of sister organisation and Government (both Central & State) in Awareness campaigns for Mentally handicapped, orphans, Street children, HIV/AIDS, Adult education and various aspects in Mental retardation.

During the Year 2005-06 the society has conducted Camps & Campaigns as listed below:

1.
Eight Awareness camps for brain fever victims and distribution of Belladonna pills at the camps to curb the fever.
2.
Twelve Tree plantation programmes in nearby mandals to educate the villagers about the importance of Tree plantation.
3.
Twenty Awareness camps for Mentally handicapped in remote mandals.
4.
Participating in Seminars and Workshops conducted by NGO's especially Lions Club, in connection with eradication of HIV/AIDS, Superstitions, Adult Education, Mental Retardation, Tree Plantation and Government programmes such as Rajeev Pallebata and Rajiv Nagarabata.
5.
Ten AIDS Awareness camps at near by Red light area covered villages such as Hasanparthy, Siddapur, paidipally, Vangapahad, Palivelpula, etc.
6.
One Heath camp conducted in the premisis by Arogya Mitra a awarne organisation.
7.
The Officers and Staff of LIC, Warangal has conducted various camps at school premisis to uplift Mentally Retarded children.
8.
Imparted trainings to Twenty just literate women belonging to Minority community in Tailoring and Embriodary.
9.
Imparted training to Thirty nearby rural area women in making soft toys, candles and preparation of perfumes and phinoil.
